XVII - Shane Black Comes Calling

For our first directorial double feature we look at the work of buddy-comedy auteur Shane Black and his two 21st-century revitalizations of the PI story. In Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and The Nice Guys he crafts two hyper-stylized and hyper-witty worlds of guns, girls, and guys who are in way over their heads. Oh, and did we mention its Christmas?
